For schools, the safety of children is a top priority, making it crucial to control and monitor entries and exits. In case of fire, it is essential to know immediately who is in the building. Students are often undisciplined and lose their identification, so appropriate solutions must be applied.
Reception
For the safety of students, we recommend installing turnstiles or other access gates at the entrance to ensure that all entries and exits are recorded. Based on the stored photos of students, the reception staff can immediately notice on the monitoring interface if someone tries to enter unauthorized using another person's card.
Student ID as an Identifier
In the Predor system, we can use various types of identifiers (card, wristband, sticker, digital barcode, etc.), but students often lose them. A practical solution is to use the student ID as an identifier, as it is likely always with the student.
Emergency, Evacuation
In schools, it is particularly important to know exactly who is in the building. In the event of a fire alarm, it must be determined as quickly as possible if someone is still inside. The Predor mobile application and the real-time updated evacuation list help with this.
Disaster Plans
In the event of an armed attack, we can immediately activate one of the pre-configured plans, even with the push of a button. This way, we can automatically block the attacker's path and keep the escape routes clear while sounding an emergency alarm.
Customization
By keeping track of students' schedules, absences and tardiness can be monitored. Additionally, it can be ensured that minor students only leave when they no longer have classes. With software integration, for example, a parent can authorize an early departure from their own mobile phone, which can be seen in real-time by the reception staff.
Schedule-Based Entry and Exit
It is possible that if a student still has classes and does not have parental or teacher permission to leave, the system will not allow them to exit.
